ABOUT SALIBIOTICS

SaliBiotics was founded by two University of Toronto professors, Dr. Gong, an orthodontist and scientist, and Dr. Lévesque, an oral microbiologist. Using their decades of experience and expertise in the clinical and scientific areas of oral health and microbiology, they have developed a novel anti-caries product – a powerful oral probiotic capable of killing 99% of the main bacteria involved in causing tooth cavities.

The team also extends to the various scientists in the laboratories of Drs. Gong and Lévesque to make such research and progress possible.

We have decades of experience and expertise in the clinical and scientific areas of oral health and microbiology. We use this expertise to develop effective and innovative solutions for oral health issues.

NOVEL RESEARCH

Discover how we're revolutionizing dental health research with our studies of the probiotic inhibitory activities against harmful cavity-causing bacteria and micro-computed tomography (mCT) scans of mouse teeth. Our groundbreaking work showcases a killing efficiency up to 99% and a significant increase in enamel mineral density in mice administered with our probiotic. This pioneering preclinical data underscores the efficacy of our approach in promoting stronger teeth.
